The Top End
July is an ideal time of year to visit Darwin and the Top End. The dry season offers the perfect climate for hosting outdoor events. Crisp misty mornings, pleasant sunny days and cool evenings under a crystal clear sky make it easy to enjoy and indulge in our Top End Lifestyle. Fred’s Pass Reserve is centrally located to enjoy the City of Darwin, Litchfield National Park, Mary River Flood Plains and Kakadu National Park. Fred’s Pass Reserve has plenty of space for competitors, supporters and spectators to camp during the National Championships.
If however camping out is not for you, the Top End has plenty of accommodation to offer depending on your budget from hostel and backpacker accommodation through to caravan parks, motels and 5 star luxury resorts. If you are looking for accommodation away from the event, please be mindful that the Dry Season is a popular time of year for visitors, so get in early to book your accommodation so not to miss out.
